At Shore TMS , your mental health is our number one priority. Our facility features board-certified members of the American Psychiatric Association who have helped patients overcome their mental health issues for over 25 years. Using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), our clinic offers safe, effective treatment for clinical depression without medication , and with minimal side effects. TMS is a noninvasive, FDA-approved treatment for depression that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate the mood control center of the brain. TMS is a practical, established medical solution to treating patients struggling with Major Depressive Disorder.
Additionally, our practice provides spravato (nasal esketamine, a ketamine derivative) treatment for people who have not fully responded to two or more antidepressants. One of our caring staff members will be with you at all times throughout the duration of your treatment session.
Our facility accepts Medicare and most insurances. Call (732) 285-1190 today for a free consultation, and let the doctors at Shore TMS help give back what depression has taken away from you in Eatontown and Wall Township, NJ.

TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)

The first step in the treatment process is determining whether or not TMS or Spravato are an appropriate treatment for you. Shore TMS offers a free initial screening with our intake specialist to determine if you may be a candidate for treatment. During this consultation, we will review your symptoms, treatment history, and possible treatment plans. Shore TMS has a team in place to make the often overwhelming insurance process manageable. Our goal is to assist you in gaining access to TMS or Spravato as quickly as possible by working with your insurance provider and securing coverage. Since insurance companies have their own requirements, you must first have a free consultation to determine if you meet those requirements.

Free Consultation

If you are a possible candidate, after the initial free consultation, you will be scheduled to see Dr. Wolff, our director. Dr. Wolff will see you for a full psychiatric evaluation and discuss TMS or Spravato with you.

Evaluation with Dr. Wolff
At Shore TMS, your treatment plan begins as discussed with Dr. Wolff, tailored to your individual needs. TMS sessions typically last up to 37 minutes. While you sit comfortably and alert in a reclined chair, the TMS device delivers rapid, MRI-strength magnetic pulses in a 4-second sequence, repeated 2 - 3 times per minute. During the session, you can watch TV, listen to music, or simply relax. Afterward, you can return to your normal activities, as TMS is non-invasive and non-systemic no surgery or drugs, and no drug side effects.
Spravato treatments start with self-administering the nasal spray in two to three doses under medical supervision. One of our caring staff members remains with you throughout the session, ensuring your comfort and safety. During the approximately two-hour monitoring period, we provide soothing music, mindfulness meditations, and aromatherapy, or you're welcome to bring your own entertainment. For Spravato, a ride home is required after each session.
